The electric car manufacturer e.GO will showcase its Limited Edition e.GO Life Concept Cross concept car and the near-production version of the e.GO Life Sport

Aachen, 25 February 2020 - At the Geneva International Motor Show 2020, (exhibition grounds, hall 2, stand 2243) which runs from 5 to 15 March 2020, e.GO Mobile AG will unveil for the first time the e.GO Life Concept Cross, which will be launched as a limited small series in 2021. The company will also present the near-production sports version e.GO Life Sport, and the e.GO Mover electric minibus with interactive communication between the vehicle and its passengers.

The e.GO Life Concept Cross is a city utility vehicle and a clean utility vehicle at the same time. The vehicle’s 3.41 m length makes finding a parking space easier, and it offers a comfortable SUV height of 1.66 m as well as an impressive width of 1.82 m. A powerful 72 kW electric motor and a larger battery than the e.GO Life 60 make the 1,280 kg (EU kerb weight) light four-seater one of the most dynamic and safest small cars. The e.GO Life Concept Cross is available for pre-order in Geneva.

After the premier of the e.GO Life Concept Sport concept car at the 2019 motor show in Geneva, this year e.GO will unveil the near-production version of the vehicle. The e.GO Life Sport has a powerful 80 kW electric motor along with a sporty chassis, a larger battery, 17-inch alloy wheels, sports seats and a glass cockpit. The e.GO Life Sport is also available for pre-order in Geneva.

“Buying a new car is, and will always be, an emotional decision. Buyers of electric cars also want to buy that emotion. Our customers have been inspired by the design of the e.GO Life. They want more exciting versions of our e.GO Life that say something about the buyer and the user. Since the e.GO Life is a vehicle platform, we can now play to our strengths and launch exciting special models such as the Life Sport or the Life Cross with little effort,” says Professor Günther Schuh, CEO of e.GO Mobile AG.
